# Licensing and attribution

This is a mixed-license distribution. The root MIT license does not apply to the catalog content described below.

The catalog and original explanations are licensed under [Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). Attribute Travis Dillard / ProHP LLC, identify the Camden Work failure catalog and its research-1.0 edition, retain the license reference and indicate changes. The full legal text is in `LICENSES/CC-BY-4.0.txt`. The software's full MIT text is in `LICENSE` and `LICENSES/MIT.txt`.

The research snapshot is unchanged. This public edition adds separate licensing notices and implementation evidence without rewriting historical research flags. Underlying facts, cited papers and third-party expressions retain their own status and rights. Citations are not a grant to reproduce the cited works. No trademark rights, endorsement, contributor assignment or rights in private material are granted.

Both selected licenses permit commercial reuse subject to their terms. There are no additional noncommercial, no-derivatives or case-by-case permission requirements. This notice does not replace either license's legal terms.
